3D stereoscopic convergence distance test anaglyph glasses

progressive vs field sequential anaglyph

progressive vs field sequential anaglyph

Progressive Anaglyph:

full of static ghosting in many monitors, the only monitor i get no ghost was a CRT analog computer monitor, samsung syncmaster 793DF.

bad imersion in 3d due to static ghost

there is no flicking

good to test sync problems and to test image alignment because any small error ruins the effect. if you do great progressive anaglyph you can do any 3d technology.

Field Sequential Anaglyph:

there is no ghost, clean image

perfect imersion in 3d

flicking is bad because the red eye is on the upper filed and the cyan eye is in the lower field

i found another way to reduce ghost

if you put the red eye gamma at 0,80 the ghost reduces a lot

in levels:
keep the cyan eye gamma at 1,00
put red eye gamma at 0,80

and in channel mixer:
cyan eye
use all 0
but green-green = 80
and blue-blue = 100
red eye
all 0
but red-green = 70
and red-blue = 30

after this use the blend = difference

in this way the red channel will be a little dark, but no considerable mud will occur
so the red eye will be like a monochome red depth information
