3D (resident evil after life) filming

So I saw my first new 3d movie yesterday, and was blown away by the new 3d technology.
I was wondering if the 3d is only viewable in theaters or if you could also view it on a computer screen?

Well, there is a 3D graphics card by NVIDIA that requires a 120Hz computer monitor and uses shutter glasses. There is no passive 3D technology for computers. JVC makes a 3D TV for home that uses passive glasses. Panasonic makes a 3D TV for professionals and on set monitoring that uses passive glasses. Their home use 3D TVs are active glasses, so they could get the full HD 1080P resolution.
