I'm thinking of DIY DOF adapter for my HV20. I have bunch of older MF canon EF and also old Hassy 80, 150 and SWC. I'm thinking of modifying a trashed 70mm Hassy mag with vibrating GG and hole for HV20 lens. Basicly use old Hassy modular cam in front of my HDVcam. Good idea or should I better spend my time on 35mm DOF adapter using my Canon lenses? I'm thinking that I will have better optics with the Hassy and maybe don't need to use additional macro adapter as with 35 DOF adapter. Maybe I should just build both and have the variety of lenses available? Excited to start on this project, but don't want to start of on something that is just a waste of time.
