Hey, I'm a new poster here.
I own the original DVX100 and have been shooting with it for 5 years. Love it to death.
I have been looking at upping the ante on my productions and getting a 35mm adapter before I shoot my feature come Spring 2009. One of my producers is looking at purchasing the HVX200 for himself personally, so if we have it, we may shoot the feature on that also.
I've narrowed it down to the Letus35 Extreme and Redrock M2.
My questions are:
1) Can the Letus35 Extreme and RedRock M2 work both with the DVX100 and HVX200? Since I own a DVX100 and may end up having access to an HVX200, I want to make sure I'd only have to get one general set of a lens rig that can work for both cameras.
2) I also own a Cobra Crane II + (10' foot). Would I be able to fly the DVX100 with the Letus35 Extreme or Red Rock M2?
3) What kind of lenses work best? I'm leaning towards getting a Nikon zoom lens with a basic 50mm normal prime lens for crane use.
4) Which rigs would you all recommend most?
