35mm Adaptors making a comeback?

I thought it was stupid at first but then got thinking $280+lenses for a complete solution that is lightweight with shallow DOF and fits in a small bag. I won't be getting one because I never felt the slightest urge to own an iAnything. But surely there has to be a market for that? And he is showing it at its most ridiculous with the tele (assuming it can handle wider lenses), with a 50mm pancake and a couple of other accessories hanging off the sides it might look a little less strange...

I've repeatedly toyed with the idea using an old used Letus or Cinevate unit with my GH2, considering their current low prices... "full frame" aesthetic for less than $1000 total, what could possibly go wrong?

You'd be better off giving it a shot with the JVC 4K camera...if it was possible.
