35mm adapters and IR

Does anyone know if using a 35mm adapter has any affect one way or the other on the infrared problem associated with CMOS cams such as EX1 or RED?

I haven't had it show up on mine but I know it's only certain black fabrics that show problems.

Anybody tried a hot mirror behind the adapter between the cam and achromat?

I tried it only briefly, but I thought it kind of worked on a Letus Extreme and EX-1.
I used a 486 . I tried with a 50 and a 24mm Nikon and I didn't see any green vignetting like you do at wide on the standard lens. It solved the IR problem.

I didn't see any weird reflections or vignetting of any kind, but it was a fast test.
Others have reported weird green things from hot sources and neutral vignetting that could have come from the adapter being further away due to the thickness of the IR filter.
