I'm not well versed in 35mm adapters, but I was looking at hv30 videos on vimeo. I looked at a bunch that used 35mm adapters and they all looked absolutely atrocious beyond belief. Soft, bland colors, bad focus. Then I saw a couple that just used the hv30 naked and they were beautiful.
Are some cameras just not meant for 35mm adapters? I personally was never attracted to shallow DOF but I do like the idea of having lens options and manual control, especially if you had very little control on something like an hv.
