35 mm adapter for Canon EF lenses?

I already have Canon EF 35mm lenses, is there a 35mm adapter which will work best for this? If I use wide lenses, will it widen the DVX beyond it's native width (will it act as a wide angle adapter in addition to its 35 function?) And are any of these systems compatible with both DVX and HVX? Thanks.

Or the SGPRO. it has EOS mounts too. Works well with both the HVX and DVX. as for wide angle, it works , but don't go more than 24mm. Any wider then 24mm, and you will start to see some vignetting. 28mm is a good enough wide angle.

But due to the light loss in most of the 35mm adapter. only fast lenses are usable. anything slower than f2.8, is really challanging for the camera.

35mm adapters require that you zoom in. Thus pretty much negating any shot width. A wide angle would give you a wider pespective from that zoom point but thatll be less than the standard DVX lense in any case.

Ah, thanks ncje. Is it possible then to put a wide angle adapter in front of the dvx lens, before the 35mm? Or is there another solution to have a wide shot with a 35mm adapter?

You are zooming the DVX into the 36x24mm frame, so the FOV with a 35mm wide angle lens is the same as with the lens on the film camera.

(Sorry to belabor this, just want to make sure I understand) So if I put a 28mm or 24mm lens on the 35mm adapter, it would still be no wider than the standard DVX lens?
