35 adapter

JohnT,

Thanks for providing the photo evidence!

I had wondered the same thing as truthrocket.

I believe you can use nearly any adapter on both ... it's just a matter of the proper stepdown rings, since the HVX has a larger ring than the DVX.

The bigger question is which adapters are HD ready, or high enough quality to handle HD? Even that is going to be a highly debatable question, but I've seen Jack Daniel Stanely get GREAT images with the original Letus35 adapter on the HVX, I've seen BEAUTIFUL images in the film KATRINA, which was shot with the SG35 Pro adapter on an HVX (also works with DVX), and I've seen great work coming out of the Redrock Micro M2 as well, for both cameras.

Yep, Stefan (scharky), I think speaks highly of that one ... or at least it's one he's looking at getting, I believe.

ill vouch for the redrockmicro M2. Its worth every cent. ..and yes it can be used on both cameras.. as well as alot of others.

From the clips and screenshots I've seen, I would recomend the SGpro rev 2 as I think it has the most convincing bokeh out of the bunch and it seems to be very sharp: www.sgpro.co.uk.

Redrock won't let you down. I love it, but I have to be honest alot of people rave about the Brevis because it's lighter in weight and also it allows more light in.

I have not worked with the Brevis but I hear its great.
