30p Capture Instructions

I am preparing to import 30p footage shot in squeeze to my FCP studio and I wanted to know the setup instructions seeing that I've only ever imported 4:3 60i footage. What settings (timeline, accomodating for the 30p, Squeeze, etc.) do I need to use?
As always, your help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm assuming you mean HD footage and not SD from a tape? Anyway go to "easy setup" and pick from the drop down menu "DVCPRO HD -720p30" setting. Then create a new project and import the P2 to that. It's 16:9 so it will see the anamorphic "squeeze".
 
For some reason, this post ended up in the HVX technical thread. I am using a DVX with standard def. Do I just go to easy setup and pick the same, except for SD instead of HD?
 
If your using the DVX, you just import the footage as you would with your regualr 60i footage. Then if your using squeeze, go into your sequence settings and click on the box that says anamorphic.
 
In the sequence settings do you set the editing timebase to 29.97 or 30p if you are importing 30p?
