Thanks in advance. I have three questions and I am a novice user of FCP although I gone through the training series.
1) I tried to print to tape from my computer to my Panasonic PV-GS19 via firewire.
I had it set to vtr and it seemed that the computer qued the tape to start recording but all it showed was blue....no image came through so I was unable to print to tape. I even tried to print to tape using my 100b with the same results. Any ideas of what I did wrong?
2) I've been working on one sequence that is arranged in clips and then when I took another sequence and edited it to the other it showed up as one continous clip. I still want it to be in clips so I can work with them and possibly even move things from one sequence to the other. Is it possible to edit one sequence to another and have them both stay as a series of clips that can be moved around?
If so how would I do this?
3) When I burn a DVD in DVD Studio Pro there seems to be a fair amount of cropping when I watch it back on my t.v. This makes for some pretty tight head shots and to me some unexpected and unpleasing cramped compositions. Is there a way to correct for this with a 4:3 image? Can I somehow tell it to crop the bottom part of the image and the right part instead of the left and the top part of the frame?
Thanks again. Hope to learn enough that I too can help people on this forum soon.
