3 point lighting diagrams

I'm suppose to give seminar about lighting at a university and wanted to show the "kids" the basics of 3-point lighting. I remember some time ago i ran across this app that allows you to turn on and off the lights and shows you what the results of such actions would look like on some 3d object (or was that a face?). Anyone can point me in the right direction? Basically i don't want to waste my time to recreate the basics on my own.

There's also a good DVD from Doug Jensen/Vortex Media that covers interview lighting.

You might also take a look at the Strobist website and Joe McNally's blog. Although directed at still photographers, there's plenty to learn about light placement and manipulation. One thing that I'm just starting to steal from McNally's site is the habit of carrying a sketch book to diagram my ideas for shots and lighting: what works and what doesn't.
