Hi guys. So I was about to buy some dolly wheels and make a dolly but I had a concern - what if the wood warps?
So anyways, I was looking at wheel assemblies on ebay and I came across this seller: http://stores.ebay.com/mollydollies
They sell wheels and parts but also two premade dollies, one with swivel wheels, one normal. They look really nice and would be ready to go right away which is what attracts me to them.

Supposedly their wheel assemblies are top notch and the assembled dollies are only about 20 bucks more. Do you think it's worth buying the dolly that way CONSIDERING that when I want to, I can remove the wheel assemblies (shouldn't be too hard), and use a new base.
Now 2 feet is small but I am thinking I can just set the tripod on it and work it that way. 2 feet is portable which appeals to be because lugging around my friends huge one sucks and makes us think twice before using it which is not what I want.
What do you guys prefer, siting on the platform with the camera setup, or using a smaller platform such as this? It's kinda like the tripod track wheel dollies in concept but cheaper and seems sturdier.
Anyways, I know this is a DIY forum so you'll probably just tell me to make it myself, but... thoughts?
Also, I found a very nice dolly handle for $10:
