2x Tele Convertor

Anyone tried using a 2x Tele convertor on their DVX cams? Pleaae advise. Saw on on eBay that claims to be a Japanese made model. How effective or any drop in image quality? Thanks:)
 
Those ebay tele adapters are made with cheap glass and will kill your image quality. The only one that's worth buying is the Century Optics 1.6x
 
How much is that and where can I order them from. I' m in Singapore and it seems no one here brings them in.
