Coming up soon enough (not sure when), is the 2nd annual Howard Stern Film Festival. lasts years winner received a $5,000 camera, scriptwriting software, Avid HD Pro, and a guaranteed career.

Last year I think the film festival was in May, but I would like to get a head start on the script. Im not a script writer by any means, but I am willing to purchase a script from a screenwriter if anybody of you guys write or know somebody who likes to write and you MUST be a Howard Stern fan.

If anybody is interested, please let me know. Local writers are preferred (Las Vegas, NV), but I will pay for the cost of the script to be sent if from elsewhere.

This is a great oppurtunity to get exposed, make a great short, and meet Howard Stern and the staff (Artie Lange, Robin Quivers, Ba-Ba Booey, Sal the Stockbroker, Richard Christie, JD, etc.)

My friends and I made one last year. We used my DVX. There were over 22 hundred submissions, so it's doubtful any of the screeners even saw our movie. Who knows.
Regardless, the films that made the top ten were pretty damn good, but I also saw plenty of great ones on YouTube.
Trying to put something together for the Howard Stern film fest was a great experience, in the fact that I learned alot about shooting & editing within tight deadlines, but would I do it again for that contest? Probably not. I'd rather just make my own movie.

PS-Why would anyone want to meet JD?
