My film archive has recently begun experimenting with a 2K monochrome frame-integrity film scanner. The capture rate varies from 3 to 5 fps.
THe quicktime .mov file that results from the scan lists a distinguished fps from playback fps. I'm curious about how to conform the clip so that it runs smoothly at 17 fps.
I have FCP 5.1 and AE CS3. Cinema tools doesn't provide silent film speeds and I'm told AE can do this work. So far, changing the frame rate in the time controls and then rendering and exporting the composition doesn't work.
New to the list, so apologies if this isn't the right place for the post.
