2k Light kit

So I need a new light kit and I am looking for something for around 2k.
I want the ability for it to be soft (so soft boxes should come with it)
and I'm thinking I want Fresnel's (although I can be persuaded otherwise.)

Are there any other ideas before I pull the trigger?

You can't go wrong with that Arri kit. Nice choice.

The 150w and 300w are gonna be a bit underpowered for most situations. I would get a Cool Light 4x55P flourescent ($450) for your soft light and look into buying either two used Arri 650 watt with stands (or a Cool Light CMD150 fresnel). Then you'll be good to go.

Another alternative for a 4 bank flo is the StevenStudio model.
Same as what FloLights sells but nearly half the price even after shipping.
Own two. No regrets. Would buy another if I need to.
