29.97 on a 24P timeline rendered to 24P w/2-3-3-2 insert

Just checking to see if anyone knows if this'll look like crap ...

I've got a 24PA clip I shot on the DVX w/greenscreen for a news cast in a short film. Then, for the background of the newscast (replacing the blue screen) as well as a couple of clips in the window/box next to the reporter ... those are in 29.97 clips.

I'm working it all in a 24P timeline, then rendering out to an AVI w/2-3-3-2 pulldown added as I'll be bringing the AVI back into another Vegas project.

So, the only things I'm worried about looking weird once it's burned to DVD are the other clips (background, window next to reporter, etc.).

Feedback?

Best thing for you to do is convert the 60i footage to 24p (w/ 2-3-3-2 pulldown) before you bring it into the project. It will match your 24pA footage better if you do.

However, do not be surprised if the difference is still obvious. I suggest you try a small section to see what you get. Then try tweaking contrast, sharpness, saturation, etc..
