29.97 and 24p in same project???

I'm trying to create a project with some footage in 60i and some in 24pa but no matter what I try, one of the two ends up looking bad. Is there anyway to get around this and use both in the same project without resorting to using a 3rd party program I'll have to shell out more money for?

I've tried working in a 24p and a 29.97 project and no luck.
 
You can trick PP1.5 to thinking that the 24p clip is actually 60i. The easiest way to do this is to capture your 24p video starting at the color bar. The color bar is always 60i. PP1.5 only looks at the 1st frame of the clip in order to determine if it's 24p or 60i.
