Hi All,

So im trying to output my clips to Bluray for the first time. In Vegas 10 I rendered my files as the following

MainConcept (Mpeg2) Blu-ray 1920x1080-25p 25mbps Video stream & the the Dolby AC3

However when I take my files into architect there is no selection for 25p. There is only 29.97, 25.000 (interlaced) or 24.000, 23.976 (progressive)

Being from PAL land what is the best render in vegas to make this work or work around. I tried just burning at 24p but as I imagined it loos funny when you play it.

Help me please :)

Thanks Sean.

You don't set a disc to a frame rate. The frame rate is set by the file itself. You can have files of different frame rates on the same disc (though you can't mix NTSC and PAL).

Hi David, I'm not sure if i'm missig something completely here as im new to bluray authoring. But I am confused bu your answer, if you could explain a bit more to me?

The files were filmed on a 5D MK ii at 25p. Thus when the edit was completed I rendered at 25p in Vegas using a bluray MPEG2 preset.

However In DVD architects properties it does not burn the disc or the files at 25p. It converts it to 24p, 25interlaced etc as explained above. This is giving the movie a jitter effect (noticeably during panning), especially when it burns to 24p mode.

Thanks Mike & David, I did end up using interlace after seeing Mikes link and it worked like a charm. Thanks again.
