Well, it LOOKED cool until you read the fine print... you can't use any of your own custom graphics, music, sound design, footage, etc... all the entries are going to look very very similar.

Eh.

yeah i agree... you should be able to use some of your own stuff but oh well, i can see where they're coming from... i'm not going to do this one.

That, and they said if they use it, they'll RECREATE it for broadcast, so its a nobrainer. Who can put their clips in the best order basically.

this is cool. they'll receive press for their innovative approach and some unknown will get a chance to do a major trailer. very cool.

So, did anyone else enter this? I couldn't for the life of me upload it from a mac last night. At the last minute i emailed it to my friend and he uploaded it from a pc.

It was frustrating the way the clips they gave you were so chopped up but a lot of fun too.

ya at 12pm pst there gonna have all of them to watch. I opted not to do any voice over or additional type. Should be interesting to see all the different variations. I wonder if other people were having trouble uploading from macs.

I did one. Although now, of course, I'm second guessing my concept. Oh well, good luck to all who entered.

You just might get it Jesse... I was up for it till I saw that... what else could you do with it anyway?

That seemed to be pretty much on the money.

I'd be tempted to start off slower and establish the relationship... then BAM with the music and SFX... but it's not like they give you any time to do that.

thanks, its tough. Its a fine line to walk thematically. Make it scary, funny, or suspenseful. And they dont give you much to work with. Kinda random clips. And the movie is campy. well see. something to look forward to at least.

I'm just relieved to see the upload actually worked.
