24pA to 29.97

Ok, so i finished a project that was edited in 24p and have a Deck that i wish to output it to. For some reason, i can't A) monitor the sequence in realtime on my NTSC monitor and B) Get a clean export of the sequence. When i export to 29.97 it inserts a single black frame in between each of the cuts(from one clip to another). Weird!!!

Does anyone know how to resolve these workflow issues?

Essentially, how do i get my G5 to re-telecine my time line to NTSC footage?
