24pa / squeeze mode - capture settings?

Im basically a complete noob when it comes to DVX and FCP so bear with me if i sound dumb....

From what I understand if you shoot squeeze mode you should capture using DV-NTSC Anamorphic but I also know that if you shoot 24pa that you need to capture using the pulldown removal.

So what would be the optimal settings for capturing 24pa footage shot in squeeze?
 
1) Just capture using the pulldown and later, in the browser... scroll over to ASPECT column (or something like that) and choose ANAMORPHIC - put a check in there.

2) Duplicate your capture setting and include ANAMORPHIC box checked.
