24pA question

Hi guys, I'm new here. I'm working on a project that will be shot on the DVX100 in 24pA mode. Once all the footage is captured in Premiere Pro at 29.97 fps, I plan to take the file into AE to remove the 3:2 pulldown. My question is what happens to the audio? What do I use to conform the audio so it stays in sync with the now true 24p video? Thanks!

Also, when After Effects removes the pulldown, is the resulting footage 24 or 23.976?
