My friend and i area assigned to film and edit a graduation video for my high school class. i want the whole project to be edited in a 24 timeline then exported back out to a 2:3 so that all of the effects are in 24p. thing is, we're filming it with my dvx, and my friend plans to edit his portion of the assignment on the school computer on premeire. would it be possible for the footage to be shot in 24pa, then edited in premeire, then exported back to my camera, then imported to my fcp and the 24 frames extracted for editing on a 24 timeline? if there were no tinkering on premeire, would all of the footage still in 24pa be extractable all chopped up?
