I'm using premiere pro cs3 and i shot with a dvx100b letterbox at 24pA. The captured video plays fine when you play it with media player. When i import it into premiere for editing it doesn't fill the screen. I was using the factory settings for editing in 24p wide screen. I don't know why it's doing this i have tweaked so many settings and I'm out of ideas. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also, if this is some stupid noob thing i may have missed please be kind I've been under alot of stress.

Also where is the anamorphic setting?

I'm an idiot. Figured it out.

If you shot letterbox it wouldn't fill a 16:9 preview screen because letter box is simply 4:3 footage with black bars on the top and bottom. Use a 4:3 timeline. Or if you actually shot squeeze mode, right click on the footage in the bin, go into Interpret footage and select the pixel aspect ratio to 1.2.
