24pA in iDVD

Ok, so I screwed up a few times while editing, but i finally got my 24pA shot footage, removed the pulldown, and edited it in a 23.98 timeline.

I exported the projectas a quicktime movie, dropped it into iDVD, and burned it. And when i watched it, the 24pA pulldown was put back in. It looked kinda odd, and when i went frame by frame, every 5th frame was a duplicate.

any advice on how to correct this?

THANKS! :D

I don't think iDVD handles 24fps DVDs, unlike DVD Studio pro. In that case it just adds an extra frame to keep it running at 29.97

Is there a way to export my 23.98 timeline so the quicktime file uses the standered 2:3:2:3 pulldown instead of adding the extra frame in iDVD?

FCP 4.5 didn't have any provision to add pulldown to a QT file. I thought that might have changed with fcp 5 but I don't have it so can't tell you. After Effects and most effects software has the ability to add pulldown.
