24pa footage needs rendering in timeline

i was recently messing with my FCP settings so i could edit squeezed footage and not need to render in the timeline. i changed the capture settings and sequence settings.

now my normal, 24pa footage needs rendering when i put it in my timeline. my capture setting is on advanced pulldown removal and my sequence is back to what it should be (i think).

I have searched posts but I would appreciate if someone could just give me rundown on the correct settings you need when capturing squeezed footage and those for regular letterbox mode.
