I am editing some footage in FCP 4.5 that was shot on a DVX100a and captured during shooting on a Firestore FS-4. I know for sure that my frame rate on the camera was set to 24p Advanced. I captured the footage on the Firestore using the 24p Advanced setting. When I bring it into FCP and drop it into a 23.98 sequence, it plays fine until needing to be rendered. Anything that is rendered in the timeline becomes a higher speed and a different part of the clip. If this actually is a pulldown removal problem, is there any way to fix that if the footage has all already been captured? Or is this a different problem that I need to fix outside of FCP? Thanx!
