24pa & 30i to 24p in PPCS3 for editing?

I accidentally shot 3 hours of interviews in 24pa with my DVX100b. I meant to shoot 30i but forgot to save the scene file after changing it. The only prob is that all my narration b-roll is 30i. I have Premiere Pro CS3. This 24p/pa is all VERY confusing to me, but here's what I thought I'd do:

1. Capture & import the 24pa footage directly into the DV24p editing profile in PPro CS3. Remove 24p pulldown.

2. Use DVFilm Maker to convert all my 30i to 24p (standard), import it into same timeline and remove 24p pulldown.

I like the idea of a film look anyway so I thought it'd be easier to go to 24p than to go from 24p to 30i. Also, I could use the DVFilm Maker to convert the 24pa to 24p if that'd be better...

Am I on base here? Will it work?

Due to the underwhelming response and the pressing need to edit, I have decided to proceed with edit of 24pa and 30i on a 29.97 DV NTSC timeline.
