I've been using Apple's workflow for 24p (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2410) to convert my footage however I usually convert all of the footage and then start to edit. I am going to be working with some large files which I will only use chunks of and I was wondering if there is a way I can do all of my editing before the pulldown removal and then put the final edited/color corrected product through the process. Thanks!

BTW quick question, I hooked up my camera to a small none-hd TV via the A/V cables and the picture looks so much better than on my MacBook Pro. The colors are very saturated and everything looks very clear. Is there a reason for this? I've tried to achieve the same results with color correction and other software tools in FCP but the quality starts to degrade.
