24P Slo-mo...

Would anyone possibly know how to get a nice smooth slo mo when editing something you have shot in 24P mode on the DVX100B?

I reduce the speed in the FCP timeline to 30 percent, and then it goes jumpy slo-mo.
Did i capture it with the wrong settings?

Any help would be sooooo appreciated

FCP's built in slow motion just repeats frames. To keep really smooth slow motion you want to shoot high speed with an HVX200 and transfer to DV. Or spend $ to get a plug-in like Retimer that actually creates new frames after analyzing what's there:

Thank you, i will give that a try.
I was hoping not to spend money, as the cost of FCP Studio was enough lol.

I am trying to make something for the big screen, and shot everything in 24p, not knowing about this glitch. Just for a local film fest, but i will look into the program suggested
