Ok so I am Using Sony Vegas pro 9 , my timeline is 1920x1080 24fps,
when I am rendering to dvd It only gives me the choice for 60i, then the footage looks weird almost as if it was speed up. what is the Proper way to burn a Clean 24p dvd at 60i... I know im missing a Step....

Help

Use the DVD Architect 24p DVD Widescreen template under MPEG-2. Make one change, and ONLY because you are resizing the image: set the render quality to Best.

You have to render your audio separately, but use the same file name and DVD Architect will mate it up automatically.

I just added the dvd Achitect

I just added the dvd Achitect

Ok So I have now Added the Dvd Architect Software but, Under the Template for Dvd , it does not Give me the option for 24p it Only gives me the option for 60i, the 24p option is under Bluray only.
is there an Update to Architect. i have 5.0b

I got it.. The dvd architect template is for Rendering it in Vegas 1st. the importing it in Arch DVD 5.0

Do I have to Crop Anything though?

Ok... No croping I got it.. I did make a Test Dvd, but under the properties Im burning a dvd ntsc 720x480 16x9, and the frame rates choice it gives me is only 29.97. is that normal? should I have more frame rate options? I have them under the Blu ray just not dvd.

If you're talking about what you see in DVD Architect, that's simply the standard for the DVD, as opposed to 25.000 for PAL. If you rendered from Vegas using the DVD Architect 24p Widescreen option, then the file on the DVD will be 24p.

ok. but the standard fps when selecting DVD architect when actualy Burning is By default 29.97 and thats Ok right? technicaly since the Vegas File is 24p with 3-2 pulldown and dvd players are essentialy 60i the image and video speed is normal as rendered in vagas and not Changed.

The file doesn't have pulldown added (I know it says it does). It has pulldown FLAGS embedded to tell the DVD player to insert pulldown if it's playing to standard DVD. So no, the MPEG file is not 29.97. It's 23.976.
