24p progressive scan For slow motion ???

sorry im a newbie normaly i work with a sony vx2000 but soon im gonna to a music video and i have some little question for you !!

i want to do some slow motion shot, the dvx can film in 24p in progressive scan ..... sooo if a do slow motion shoot in 24p normaly the image during the editing gonna be perfect !! ??? or im gonna need to shoot in 60fps !! ???

You can do both

24p and then use a program like Twixtor or the reccomended 60i and then slowing down to 40% in post.

You only need to shoot the Slow Motion part in 60i and then you can Render it and bring it back in a seperate event

I use Vegas

I think with Premiere you have to reinsert a rendered (Slow Mo) clip back into your project timeline that has pulldown reinserted; meaning you can't use 60i and a 24p project in the same project !

I am not 100% posi on this; I am gonna COPY this to the Premiere forum !
