24p printing to tape...

hey...got a question...i recently purchased a DVX100a..and its a kick ass camera...ne ways....i filmed in 2:3:3:2 pulldown mode and captured the clips to vegas 5..and i finished editing and everything and put it back to tape..but it looked weird, really blurry and stuff...and i came here for help..heres the question..is there a special setting i have to make my project when im editing with 24p and then printing back to tape?

That's not enough info. What steps did you take to print to tape? Can you post a clip of the "blurry" footage?

The step I took to print to tape was...going to Tools...Print to DV Tape...and that was it..im kinda new at editing at different frame rates..so I most likely did something wrong.

My project properties were...

Frame Rate - 24.000 (film)
Resolution Quality - Best
Motion Blur Type - Gaussian
Deinterlaced Method - Blend Fields

I saw the blurry edges after i printed to tape and watched it on my tv screen.

OK, first, you want a framerate of 23.976, not 24.000. Second, you don't want a deinterlace method, because 24p isn't interlaced.
