24p plays fast in FCP

I shot a HVX clip at 24p and captured it with DVRack. I used the batch capture to create the QT file. The clip settings are:

Vid Rate: 23.98fps
Frame Size: 960x720
Compressor: DVCPRO HD 720p60
Data Rate: 5.6 MB/sec
Pixel Aspect: HD(960x720)
Field Dominance: None

I matched the sequence settings in FCP to the clip. Everything looks good put it plays fast. What am I missing? Thanks for the help.

The files are captured as AVI. If I try to bring them into FCP as AVI they are blank and I'm not sure why. As I do more research I'm beginning to think you are right. Something is going on with DVRack not FCP.

FCP doesn't support AVI, at least not worth a crap, anyway. Always use QT files with FCP.

Go to the Bin, highlight the clip, right click and go to Item Properites, Format. Double check the clips properites, just to be sure. It can't hurt to double check.

Yah, that's what I did. No luck. I did try playing the QT files in QT and it was fast there too so something is wrong with the file coming out of DVRack. I'm going to give them a call Monday and see if they have any recommendations.
