I am having problems with the output of 24p from PP2. The video is fine on my computer, but when my 24p project is displayed back through my Panny deck onto a NTSC television, there is slight color jumping, or tearing to the left.
I have checked the 2 different playback settings PP2 gives you for the 24p playback output. No luck.
The original DVX-100A footage at 24p looks fine played back on the Panny deck straight to the monitor. The material from the 24p time line does not.
Even PP2's own color bars has a slight jump in the colors to the left. Coming from a film background, I'd say it almost looks like gate weave when film is transferred without pin registration.
I have tried various ways of importing the 24p footage, time line settings, footage interpretation with no luck.
Has any one ever had this problem or seen this before?
