which mode, 24p or 30p, do you think is more sensible for the videographer and most aesthetically pleasing for the client?(for ceremony and reception)

just wondering what people who are experienced in wedding doumentation think?

thanks

I'd go with the 30p. Aside from the occasional Bridezilla who you'll never reason with, most brides are pretty anal about wanting their wedding video to look just like their rich "girlfriends" and the last thing you'll want to be asked is" why does everything look so jerky on mine ?" After having created way to many wedding videos, sorry if I sound like a cynic.

no, I have done a wedding before, and it turned out preety good, but now the DVX100a, i wasent incredibly sure which would probably be the most enjoyed by the client

thanks

I agree with David...show them examples. It's a one time event with no re-takes....best to never leave issues like that to chance.

I shoot in 30p for the wedding and 60i for alot of other shots like decorations or when they are having their pictures taken. I shoot alot of 60i at weddings so I can do slow mo with them and it will look better. Hope this helps
Brian
