24p help please

Just shot some 720/24P (not 24pN) stuff on my HVX-200, brought it into AE7 after running through the Serious Magic DVCPRO HD Decoder...AE comp settings are:

DVCPRO HD720/23.976
960 x 720
Pixel Aspect: 1.33

I'm trying to output a Windows Media file at 24fps...which I do, and the motion does not look smooth. Its a truck driving by and the truck seems to go and freeze for a frame then go then freeze. I thought if you output at the 24fps setting you shouldn't get the stutter. Do I need to get rid of the 3:2 pulldown or something? AE will allow you to interpret the footage and "Guess 3:2 pulldown" or "Guess 24Pa Pulldown"...or go to fields and remove the pulldown?

My apologies for being so noob. I'm a total video guy and this 24p pulldown stuff has me confused.

Any help is appreciated.

Your problem probably lies with rendering a wmv, I've never had any luck with them (albeit I'm on Mac) I would go with an uncompressed QT then convert it using a diff software package.
