I shot a 2 camera interview with 2 HVX200s both shooting at 24p and capturing to Firestore, but when I put the footage into Final Cut (6.0) and tried to make a multiclip to edit, I found that one of the camera's footage gradually slips out of sync with the other.
To be clear, I made a Quicktime Movie of all the individual clips from the Firestore for each of the cameras. Then I used those .movs to create my multiclip. The video and audio from each camera are in sync, but, while they start out in sync with each other, the audio AND video of one camera's footage gradually slips out of sync with the other.I assumed this was a drop frame vs. non-drop frame issue, but when I examined the source TC for each clip they both say "Non-Drop Frame".
My .movs and multiclip are both 23.98 and my editing timebase for my timeline is 23.98.
Does anyone know what might be causing this, or a possible solution?
