24P clips are jerky after applying effects

All the clips on my timeline without effects are playing back fine. However, clips with effects applied are playing back horribly. It seems the fields are all messed up. Also, say if above my video event, there's a track with a compositing mode enabled, the video below that track will playback jerky. My project setting is 24p progressive, and whenever I do a pre-render it's out to 24P with 2-3 pulldown. Anyone have similar problems? thanks.

Is this before you actually Render it?

Are you saying its jerky as in "lagging on the computers processor"? My old computer did this whenever I added effects into the timeline but my new one is smooth.

Not jerky in the way that it's lagging. My CPU is able to keep up with playing back a DV stream. Remember now, this is not playing effects back in real time. This is occuring even AFTER, the event is rendered, even with "Print to DV" It almost "looks" like it's lagging, but I know it's not.

I would make sure your Vegas files are not going on your system drive. Do you have a seperate drive for you video?
