24p 60hz --> 25p 50hz in EDIUS

Is this going to be as simple as just dropping my 720pn footage on a 50hz 25p timeline as is the process with EDIUS much of the time in converting rez's and framerates? Or would there be a more effective way that I am unaware of.

Basically I want to convert my "NTSC" footage to PAL and burn to DVD to send to my wife's parents in Indonesia so they can see how their G'daughter has grown, etc., etc.

You don't anticipate there being any problems with "strobiness" or jitterring, due to the varying framerate/hz?

Don't know, all I know is that I've been distributing DVDs worldwide and nobody's complained yet. I would assume (ooohhh, there's that word!) that that means they're working out okay...
