24p-25p?

I live in the North East of England and as we all know that is a PAL zone, consequently our cam's shoot 25p is there any way to make it look more like 24p, magic bullet etc. also as I am very new to this (Dont even have a cam yet, but am saving like mad for an HVX which will take ages, but even small steps forward are in the right direction) I digress! is the difference between 25p and 24p that noticeable, I intend to use this cam primarily for shooting fiction controlled lighting etc...(that is when I can afford lights) so want to get as close to the "film look" as possible.

:) thanx in advance for any help suggestions etc

25p is often indistinguishible from 24p. It's only one frame per second faster.

You can slow it down by 4% if you want.

does any body know if pal region movie theaters project at 24fps or 25fps? because alot of cine cameras record at either 25 or 24...

so 25p will look as equally "film like" as 24p? I suppose its not a major issue as long as the story is good, I just like to get as much info and advice as possible, I like to go by the "it cant hurt to ask" rule of thumb. thanx for comments so far by the way.
