24fps Playback... A Question...

Hi, I'm planning to buy an EDIUS NX PCI Express, and as I read in the specifications, it can play out video at 1080/24p and 720/24p.
My biggest interest here is to monitor in a 1080p LCD while I'm editing.
But I have a problem: I've been a Premiere guy, and I think that I should use Edius for this to work. I was about to buy a BlackMagic Deck Link Studio, but it only supports 1080/24p, not 720/24p.
I really appreciate anyone here using EDIUS NX PCI Express to let me know if this really works OK with 1080/24p and 720/24p which is the configuration that I'll be using the most.

Go for HD STORM am premiere guy too with matrox but when i downloaded the trial version of this software only, i can't believe what am seen.Edius Rocks!!
 
The problem with HD-Spark is that it only outputs 1080/23.98p. It niether supports 1080 / 24p nor 720 / 24p.

What I don't really know is if the output for 1080/24p and 720/24p
are real time outputs to monitors, since the card only shows S-video and
firewire. Even though the specifications points out a component BNC.

This is really confusing. I don't want to buy something that I have to return.
