I am about to start capturing footage shot on my HV20 and XH A1, both shot in 24f mode. Will be editing on FCP 5.1. Output will be to an SD DVD or an HD DVD to play on a G5.
How should I capture the XH A1 footage so I can use with the HV20 footage? I've noticed any file not meant for a certain timeline will result in alot of rendering with every edit, I hope this isn't the case with this project.
I'll be deinterlacing the HV20 footage using JES deinterlacer, don't know how to use compressor for that.
Any help will be much appreciated!
