24"x48 "Edge lit LED Panels? ANyone use 'em?

[h=1]LED Panel EDGE LIT 2x4 75W 3000-5000K HIGH QUALITY 5 YR WTY Dimming IP44 UL/DLC[/h]I saw these on ebay while looking for energy smart LED light for a bathroom reno and wondered if anyone had used them for studio or field work. They come in three colour temps and with a driver. I was thinking might work for my Chroma key background or ?

Flickering could be an issue you'd need to check by shooting them with all the shutter speeds you'd be likely to use.
If you wanted to use them on skin, you'd also need to check the Chromatic Rendering Index (CRI). The listings I found for them doesn't mention what they produce, but you could always test them against a tungsten bulb and see if you're happy with the look.
The best thing to do is probably for you to buy them for your bathroom, do some screen tests and then let us know!

Well I think that is what I will do but I bought two smaller ones for the bathroom but will order one next week for the shop and to play around with. Now to decide which temp 3k-4k-5k
