Has anyone ever watched this show back to back? I was home sick one day and watched Day 2, like 12 episodes over the day and it's crazy repetative. When you watch it week to week, it's not so bad. I've been watching this season to, and it's so far fetched, I mean how much bad **** can happen in one day? I've already invested like 3 months into it, but the last 8 episodes have been awful and I just can't stop watching now. Seriously, an army storms the white house? C'mon.... there's only been one army to do that and that was like 200 years ago. And who was surprised when Tony turned? Of course he's gonna turn, he's got an evil goatee.

Something bad happens, Jack gets ropped in, Jack finds a lead, the lead is mysteriously shot, they catch a break and get another lead, Jack tortures the lead, the lead dies but not before telling of another attack, jack stoped the attack, but then there's and another secret evil group that they didn't know about, jack cataches a break on a lead....and on and on and on. The same thing over and over again.

They could do a lot better if it wasn't in real time.

True, but I suspended disbelief on that a long time ago. Another thing that isn't credible is that they've had like 6 presidents in 7 years, which means the first 7 seven seasons have spanned like 20 years.

I knew I had to suspend belief early into the first season when they traversed the roads of Southern California in mere minutes and when they never had a dropped call on their cell phone.

Once I let that go, then I was free to enjoy a nice carnival ride and have enjoyed every season, though season six got a little weird ... I think they needed that break, so it was good that Kiefer had to go to jail and then the writer struck for a while :)

See I really liked the lead into this season too, the 2 hour movie was great with Robert Carlyle.

Season 1 was fantastic, I really liked that. Maybe I'm just 24'd out, but I was watching last night and I just wanted it to be over, hopefully with next weeks finale they'll crank it up a notch. I think Kim Bauer story line in season 2 was what got me, it like how many bad choices can a person make in a row.

I've seen Season 1, 2, 6 and now 7. Started 3, is 3,4 and 5 worth watching?

And yeah, them driving from one side of LA to CTU in 5 minutes was something that immediately stood out to me. With the use of cut away scenes and commercial breaks, they can make 6 minutes look like 30 and with a week between episodes 1 hour seem like a 3 days.

I am digging Agent Freckles though :).

Season 5 is totally worth watching.
Season 4, not so good. Apart from maybe episodes 4-8 and the finale?
Season 3, yeah that's original to.. an extent.

But Season 5 gets my vote out of all those.

Season 7 shortly to follow.

EDIT - And whats another nickname people have got for 'Freckless' isn't it 'Mini Jack' or something?

I'd also put money on them trying to extract the virus from Jack in a form of Blood taking..

I started season 3 whem Jack is all on smack, I only watched a few episodes but I've got a feeling he kicked his habit about 6-8 hours into the day?

I believe so..

DC know's something and he won't tell us! Get him!

Well done on the whole Zip file idea, still. How do you know something?

:)

Ok, I will tell. But only a little.

I saw the 2-hour season finale in its entirety . . . WITH the cast/producers/director! I was fortunate enough to be invited to a private screening (I knew someone who knew someone, etc.). Despite some of the implausible scenarios we've come to expect (and accept) from 24, it was an excellent ending to a season which I thought was very good. The energy in the room was through the roof - everyone had a great time.

The real treat was getting to meet and speak with many of the main cast. They really are like a family. They were very gracious and happy to be there. I did speak with Jon Voight briefly and shook his hand, so, in a way, I got to touch a part of Angelina Jolie. :Drogar-Happy(DBG):

He didn't try to bite your arm?

Keifer does seem to have a bit of a reputation for being unpredictable, but he was a perfect gentleman in front of me.
