it seems when i go and export my footage from vegas in ntsc 24p 3-2 pulldown i lose some quality of my footage.

1) What kind of footage was it to start with? 60i? 24p? 30p?
2) What did you render AS?
3) Which template did you use for the render?
4) What do you mean by "quality"? What specifically is lost?

it was shot with the sony pd150 frame rate 60i i think? the template i used while editing ntsc dv24p and export ntsc24p 2-3-3-2 pulldown. dose this help?

Yeah, it helps a lot. You'll lose quality converting 60i to 24p. You'll lose half your vertical resolution.
