This is probably a stupid question, but can anybody tell me why the entire presidential administration is based in LA and not Washington.

Because it works well for the thin plot. That being said, I DVR this every week and it's one of the only shows I watch.

24 and Lost are both getting worse with each episode (believability, staying true to characters, etc) but I continue to watch them. I think that's because the worst episode of Lost or 24 is better than the best episode of 95% of the other shows out there.

That being said, I watching Sopranos on DVD right now. I'm almost done with season 3, now THIS is a good show. I've got some gripes with it, but not as many.
 
I totally agree with you, TC.

But, nothing will ever come close to the The X-Files in terms of story arc, etc...
One of the greatest EVER.
 
24 is nowhere near where the X-Files was.

You're right FilmJunk, it was an amazing ride, watching that show every week.
 
Yeah, it was an amazing ride. A rollercoaster. I miss it.

I just finished watching seasons 1 and 2 of Millennium. What a great show that was. So underrated.
 
I never saw it. I also heard that The Shield is a good one too, never caught that one either.

Though I am hooked on UNAN1MOUS! *insert sarcastic smilie*

Are you kidding me or just really young?

The Sopranos and Oz are both far superior to 24 in terms of story, characters, and style.

Actually, if you were to make a list of the top 25 shows ever I doubt 24 would be listed on that list at all.

The first season was really good. Maybe not top 25 ever (I'd have to sit down and make a list), but really good. It's definitely become much more formulaic.

I want to know where Wayne Palmer got a gun with a silencer this week. Does Jack just carry extra silencers around?

And I LOVE Chloe. She is the perfect nerd with Asperger's syndrome. I liked when she picked up the M-16 last season and blew some guy away.

They are just at the president's retreat. Don't forget this is all just one day. So they are not based there.

WoW. This is getting good. Could president Logan be hiding something? Maybe not. Sorry to see the banker get killed, but it keeps david Palmer safe. I can't wait till next week
