23.98 footage reported as 29.98?

Hi guys. I'm in the final outputting stages of my project titled Elevation which I shot on the DVX100A in 24pAdvanced mode. I brought the file into FCP with pulldown removed and edited on a 23.98 timeline. After I was done, I exported directly through Compressor through a created preset that was 24p. The thing is, when I import it into DVD Studio Pro 2 and click on the Track, in the Inspector window, it lists the film as 29.97 even though it should be 23.98. What's up with that?

I'm just taking a completely wild guess but could it be my RT settings in FCP? I put it on 2:3:2:3 because I had to output to tape and they said 2:3:2:3 gives me the best quality.

Or is it just a bug in DVD Studio Pro 2? I'm not sure but I think I read somewhere, whether on this forum or kenstone.net that DVD Studio Pro 2 has a bug where it'll say 29.97 even though it's 23.98? I'm not entirely sure.

Can't speak for dvdsp2, but in dvdsp4 there seems to be the same problem. It's pretty lame, especially because the manual tells you where to look to confirm it's 24p, but then it still says 29.97. Try burning a dvd and see how it plays. If it looks and plays well, you should be good.
